I'd held on to this one for a little while after painting it as I'd connected with it so much...but now I'm ready to let it go. It was created in a time where things were really hard. What felt hopelessly hard. It was here I could get lost, and just come as I was - broken, tired, hurting, challenged, grieving - to the beautiful Australian coastline. To where fine warm beach sand and turquoise waters offered me respite from the struggles of everyday life.This place lets me breathe deeper, linger longer, be still, reflect, and find grace within to keep going.
 
The moment captured in this Summery pretty artwork is a reminder of what the coast always promises me...light, warmth, healing, peace, joy, contentment, but most of all, hope.
