It can be hard to find peace when storms threaten and waves crash against us. Hard to see the light when darkness looms. I take comfort here in solace at a quiet beach, regardless of the grey clouds that hover or the waters that rise.
 
Sandy inlets that provide refuge and reflection. Reflection that helps shift my focus, ease my anxious thoughts, and calms my racing heart. Because I know they will pass; these storms, this darkness, this fear. I have hope. Faith. Assurance in promises that I am held, known...and loved. In solace, I find peace.
