When our hearts shatter unexpectedly it can be hard to comprehend healing. Tragedy, loss, health conditions, relationships, destruction, revelations...no matter the reason, the heart is the lifeline to our being and having it shattered into pieces can be truly devastating. 
 
I don't have answers as to why, and how long, and how to start moving forward. But I find comfort and healing and hope when I paint. Especially painting the coast. And painting the coast with these colours. 
 
As each artwork in this palette sells I return to these colours and this coastal subject again and again...because not only do they bring healing to me in their creation, they resonate and bring healing to others too.
 
Whether it's the emotion behind them, the ocean and beach I paint of, the contrast of light and dark, the expressive strokes and lush textures, or that unexplainable pull towards it...I hope whatever has drawn you to my work means it's a baby step to healing your heart too.
