When I visit the South Coast I can't help but think of all the childhood holidays and memories associated with those carefree, fun filled, warm balmy Summers, and cool, quiet and overcast Winters. We'd go whatever the season, but anyone living on the South Coast will tell you it can be all seasons in one day.
 
Dusk was the time we'd settle and reflect on the day that's been and gather together as family and friends embracing life, loving each other, sharing moments, creating new ones. Times that I look back on now with a longing and sadness that those special people are no longer here to share it with me. But I return still, whenever I can, to the beautiful coastline where I find comfort and solace in those memories, new hope when I'm hurting, and a greater appreciation to embrace and love the little things in every day. Here at the coast - as waves meet shoreline and southerly breezes carry cares away across the vast ocean - is where I think of them the most.
