The time of year when days are longer, weather is warmer, and the coast is calling...holiday mode. 
 
Holidays begin as soon as the car is packed and we're on the road. Anticipation builds through every scenic valley and over every hill until the first glimpse of the ocean ahead has the kids squealing in delight and the adults quietly exhaling. 
 
Days ahead on the sand, in the sea, and soaking up the sunshine before the sunset puts a full stop to the day by way of pretty light blazoned across the sky and coastline.
 
Holiday mode - we don't want it to end. I hope it encourages an exhale and reminds you of many a fun filled, beach loving, sun seeking, country drive escape...as it does me.
